Congratulations Brandie Jass-- #1 Driver in the Project Poduim Program, Lyn St. James' Scholarship Program
|
| Brandie Jass is one of 18 young women drivers nationwide, including one from Germany, selected for the Lyn St. James' Project Podium Program. This program was founded by entrepreneur and former Indy 500 driver Lyn St. James and is the newest program of Women in the Winner's Circle Foundation, a non-profit organization, and is designed to empower active young female race car drivers to help further their early professional careers. Brandie traveled to Phoenix, AZ last summer to participate in a driving school held by Lyn St. James and was selected for this program for her driving qualifications, sponsor information, and a written essay on her goals and plans and why she needs support. Brandie has been invited to the Women in the Winner's Circle Luncheon held July 24, 2008 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This event recognizes the accomplishments in racing and provides visibility and networking oportunities with industry leaders. Brandie has been racing with BMSA for 4 years and is doing very well this year. The members support and wish her well in her endeavor. |
